Ham shovel pushed open the new French doors of the Palace then walked out onto what was the most beautiful spring morning on stepping outside, he then whistled and out of the dense foliage, some way off at the back of the beautiful garden came the unicon with it’s white coat gleaming in the early morning suns.
When finally reaching him, he stroked it’s back softly and guided It’s head to his face.
‘Good morning Cleopatra.’
And cupped is hand to her mouth and fed her a small *Sapple.
And when she had finished she trotted back to her glade, leaving Ham standing just outside, when a sudden strange wind blew and forced the doors shut.
Leaving Ham struggling with the door handles and was shouting to be let back in.
Julius was sitting in the shadows of the bar listening and watching as two men where talking at a table opposite.
‘They be all dead, I am tell you, all of them the whole dam crew, and there faces contoured with fear.
‘What caused it?’
‘I have no idea me lord.’
‘Right you can go as he placed some coinage into the sailors hand, but your not to breath a word about this to any one, you hear me.’
‘ I do.’
The man, a sailor with a wooden leg and a patch over one eye, left the table and walked slowly out the door of the tavern.
Julius stood up and left by the same door close behind the sailor and started to follow him.
He led Julius to yet another tavern called the crooked man where in went inside.
Julius saw a light go on and then moved to the wall outside the room of the sailor in the crooked man tavern.
He then pulled out a small handheld gripper and fired it in to the beam above the sailors room as he started to rise he felt a hand grip is boot as he looked down he saw three men who then all grabbed Julius and pulled him back down to the ground then put a hood over is head then Julius felt a sharp blow to the head.
And it all went dark.
