I am a Circle

I am a circle
I am not square
Do not tell me to change the colour of my hair
to fit in better with you and your share
of supposed friends

You all look alike
Act the same
Wear the same clothes and same old lame
words that hurt me and make me feel shame
for living as me

Do not mould me
Embrace who I am
Like you I feel hurt and like the Lamb
I will not hate you or berate the same old sham
of who you are

I am a circle
It's you that is square
Do not try to change me, I cannot and will not bear
the same as you do in your lair
of wickedness

Don't try to change me
Are you happy?  No.
Then let me be
