MADE FROM CLAY

I don’t know why I’m like I am

Only God would know.

He put me through His tests of time

And stood me on my own.

He stands beside me each and every day

To make sure I don’t fail

To give Him all the praise and glory

For the blessing He has bestowed.

But I am only human,

So I fail him all the time.

I just can’t seem to get it right

No matter how hard I try.

I must pray for forgiveness

Many hours of each day;

And hope He understands

I am like I am because

He made me this way.
