I wonder if He knows what I was like before He came

I wonder if He knows that my life was full of shame

I wonder if He knows just where to put the blame

I wonder if He knows of the change that’s taken place

I wonder if He knows who would want to plead my case

I wonder if He knows how much I need His loving grace

I wonder if He knows what through my eyes I see

I wonder if He knows what each of us will be

I wonder if He knows what He has done for me

I wonder if He knows for me it’s not a game

I wonder if He knows I’ll never be the same

I wonder if He knows my spirit never will be tame

I wonder if He knows I gave my soul to Him

I wonder if He knows the futures getting grim

I wonder if He knows our chances are so slim

I wonder if he knows all things both good and bad

OH YES, I’m sure He has ever since He was a lad

For God knows all things both the happy and the sad.
