Peeking through the green leaves, I saw my prey from above. I had to make sure that he doesn't see me, I hid in the leaves as I stood on the branch of an old tree. I tightened the grip on my sword, I had a mission to accomplish. And I knew it's going to be the toughest one yet. I brushed my hair behind my back and observed my target's movements.

"No time to waste now," I whispered to myself.

I stood up on the tree branch high above. Grinning to myself, I pushed myself down the tree. Gravity sent me flying down towards my prey. I raised my sword up high, looking like I was about to slash him into two.

"Remember to hold back, you don't wanna kill him," I reminded myself. I swooped down and purposely missed him as my sword hit the ground with a loud clanging sound. He reacted faster than I thought. My prey drew out his sword as I jerked my sword out from the ground and swung it at him. Our swords clashed.

"Who are you?" he asked.

I grinned at him and made a face.

"You don't have to know, Prince Hideki Daisya. HD for short." I mocked.

He was seemingly annoyed yet surprised that I knew his name.

"What do you want?" he growled at me.

"Isn't it obvious?" I said in an arrogent tone,

"I want to kill you." I said again in an artificial dark tone.

"I was sent by the devil to kill you. He said you don't deserve to have his power for you are too weak," I lied professionally,

Before I could continue saying anything else, the ground suddenly shook hard. A huge beast about the size of an oak tree rose up from beneath the Earth. His body was on fire but he was not at all burnt by it. It had two sharp horns on its head and a long black tail. Its claws seemed to be capable of slicing a human up into a million pieces with just one slash. It was a demon from Hell. I knew it and I knew what it was capable of. It could kill thousands of people with one eye closed. It then opened his jaws as hot fire of the colour black shot out at us. I evaded it and also pushed HD away from the burning fire.

"Run!" I commanded HD.

I knew if this went on, he would probably be killed.

"As if I would do that!"

His response annoyed me greatly. Fine! He wants to stay and give me more trouble, it's not like I'm not strong enough to protect that big boss.

I gripped my sword tighter and prepared to launch an attack on the beast. Then, HD dropped his sword. I looked at him like I was about to kill him.

"Great, first you're gonna stand there and give me trouble. Now you're gonna stand there and look like an arrogent idiot while I fight and protect you." I scolded.

He ignored me and raised his hands with his palms facing the demon. A dark mist appeared around his hands. Fire which is in purple colour shot out powerfully. The fire burned the demon as it screamed in anger and agony. That was the power the Devil has gievn him. It was clear that the demon was in pain but I knew that it was impossible for a power of that level to destroy the servant of Hell. I grinned to myself, I don't see why I should continue hiding my true power now.

I then released the power that I had been hiding all this time to keep attention away. Dark purple flames similar to HD's surrounded my body. I had my chance to attack now as the demon was distracted with HD. HD was already getting worned out. Soon, his fire would die out, and when it does, the demon will kill him.

"It's show time."

I charged forward with my sword held in an offensive position. From the back, the shrap iron pierced through the stone-hard body of the demon. It roared in anger. But before it could react any further, purple flames from the sword spreaded around the demon, burning it with no mercy. Within seconds, the once fearful demon was now nothing but dust.

HD collapsed onto the ground in exhaustion, worned out and tired. I stared at him pathetically,

"You're really so useless," I muttered.

"Who are you?" he asked again.

I stared at him and made a mocking face, "Why should I tell you?"

He fell quiet and gave me a please-tell-me innocent look.

"Kaminari is my name," I finally said, unable to resist his innocent look which made me want to punch it after that.

"And..." I paused, hesitating whether if I should tell this pathetic boy this information.

Then I sighed,

"I am the daughter of the Devil."

I tried to make it sound lame but it seemed that he was still shocked anyway.

"If you are really the daughter of the Devil and you are really sent by him to kill me, then why did you save me from that demon?" he asked in disbelief.

"Make it clear that I did not save you!" I denied, pointing offensively at HD,

"It's true that the Devil wants to kill you. But it's him that is after your life, not me."

"Why?" he asked.

I sighed and drew back my sword.

"Your determination of wanting revenge and the hatred within you could bring the downfall to Hell. It would either make Hell rise above the Heavens or it would make Hell fall into nothing. Of course, my father would rather not take such a bet. Only by killing you will stop this from happening."

"Then why did you try to kill me just now?" he asked, stabbing his blood-red eyes into mine.

"Look here, I have no intention to kill you. But I will if it's neccessary." I said darkly.

Then there was silence.

"Forget about your revenge," I suddenly told him,

"It might be painful but it is going to decide the fate of Heaven and Hell. Just stop this nonsense HD."

He turned away, "I can't."

He was so blinded by revenge that so much darkness floats around him. So much that no one but himself can pull him out into the light.
