Written to express my disgust for a racist, biggoted german man named Herman I once knew and am now glad I don't.

Well Don; At least he wasn't Arab or worst yet, born from an Arab with a Jewish father.  You'd have a lot to hate then, we could raise his level from bigot to blasphemy!  I'm glad you brought his race into the forefront though; there is no other way to keep score, otherwise.

Deutschland and monsters, the association seems sound.  We should take the time to make Albert Schweitzer an honorary American or Israeli.  In That way, the good can be within a locality and life gets to easy.
