If you stepped on the tips of your toes, To reach the top shelf of our wardrobe, And grabbed the leather suitcase that sat there, To place all of what you needed to live, Without me in that case, my heart Would see no point in even trying. If you leave me now, out of the front door, or round the back so I wouldn't notice, you would leave with a part of me. If you were 'on your way out', I would not leave you alone to face that darkness. Every inch of my being yearns for Your being, I love you more than could Be possibly said with words.
This is a great piece of writing. It's seems so simple yet reaches so deep. I'm looking forward to reading more of your work based purely on this poem alone.
I loved reading this! I'd like to hear more so keep writing! Thanks, Jessie122 :)
