A Punch on the Nose

A punch on the nose
See how stiff your wee face goes
A punch on the nose
Your flared nostrils dotted crimson
Sparks fly with flash-back memories of those
Who gave to you
A punch on the nose

A punch on the nose
Because it's easier than thinking to strike blows
And from your mortal shell-host
Your ghostly ethereal ectoplasm flows
Gently floating uply to the place that everybody knows
Saint Peter guards the vortex in the fanciest of clothes
You turn around and give him
A punch on the nose

First THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENT ON THE WITCHWOOD WE BOUGHT THE PUB IN 1988 AND CHANGED IT INTOTHE WITCHWOOD YOU WOULD HAVE PLAYED DURING THE BIG BUILD UP WHEN DARREN POYSER WAS PROMOTER HE MADE THE WITCHWOOD ONE OF THE BEST VENUES OUTSIDE OF MANCHESTER HAVE YOU READ MY INTRO TO THREE PUBS IT TELLS YOU ABOUT THIS GREAT JOURNEY AT THE WITCHWOOD. DO YOU COME FROM MANCHESTER ?THE BAND NAME AND THE OTHER BAND SOUND LIKE YOU PLAYED ON OUR THURSDAY STERIO GRAFFITI NIGHT THEY WERE NEW BANDS PLAYING THERE OWN MATERIAL GREAT MEMORIES .
